We were approached by our friends at Concast back in August with a simple request: "We want to see how a pen made of C510 bronze develops patina." Their theory was that the copper content in this alloy would cause it to patina with a little more character than our standard C630. Since we never shy away from new materials, we asked them to send a small batch of bar over and we would get to work. At first glance, the color has a reddish hue like a mix between our standard copper and bronze offerings and a silky smooth action.
