Made of food grade melamine, they stay cool to the touch when serving hot foods because the food does not produce enough heat for a long enough period of time to change the temperature of the material itself.

Melamine is extremely difficult to break and will not shatter when dropped. It's also 100% dishwasher safe. And thanks to the high heat-retaining properties of the material, it dries just as well as standard dishware inside the dishwasher, unlike other plastic containers.
