Besides questions about our collection, you might want to know more about our payment and shipping options, delivery times and our refund policy. We have made a list of questions that might run through your head and answered them in advanced to make things a little easier.

Payment & Shipping

We accept payments from all major payment services, such as: Amex, Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay and many more.

International shipping rates vary by country and range from approximately €5.95 to €14.95 (Express rates and TOYO Steel rates excluded). To see the shipping cost for your order, place an item in your cart and begin the checkout process: add your shipping / billing information and continue to the next step to view your shipping cost. Since we really don't like shipping costs, we are trying to find ways to reduce these to zero. But for now, we promise it won't be higher than €14.95 (Express rates and TOYO Steel rates excluded).

We try to send out each order in 1-2 business day(s). If you place an order on a holiday or weekend, we will make sure it will be processed the next business day. We use registered FedEx, UPS or PostNL (Dutch Royal Mail) service for all items. In terms of processing time, generally this means that all packages are processed, send and arrive in the country of destination within three business days. Unfortunately we have no control over customs and the processing time in the country of destination, but in general all packages to:

  • Europe: Arrive within 1-3 business days.
  • USA: Arrive within 1-3 business days.
  • Worldwide: Arrive within 4-6 business days.

Need it there faster? You can use the 'Express' option during checkout, or
contact us before you place your order to discuss the options. All items are securely packed and shipped with 'track and trace' and 'signed for' and you will receive an e-mail confirmation once your order is shipped. We send everything from our office in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.

Currently, for most regions, all prices include duties, taxes, and VAT. Please refer to the list of applicable countries above (see tab 'Are duties, taxes, and VAT included in the prices?'). This ensures there are no unexpected additional costs upon delivery.

At this time, we are unable to remove any duties, taxes, and VAT from prices for shipments to countries outside the specified list (see tab 'Are duties, taxes, and VAT included in the prices?').

Returns & Exchanges

We strive to provide comprehensive visual and detailed specifications to accurately represent our products. All items are brand new unless otherwise stated.

If you are not satisfied with your purchase, please submit your return here and follow the return guidelines below:

  • Items must be returned in perfect, unused condition, repacked in their original packaging with all original tags attached.
  • Returns on sale items are not accepted.
  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. We do not offer free returns, provide prepaid return labels, or refund shipping fees associated with returns.
  • KOHEZI is not responsible for any lost return shipments. For your protection, we recommend shipping your return with tracking information.
  • Refunds or exchanges will only be processed for items postmarked for return within 14 calendar days of receipt.

Adjustments & Cancellations

Absolutely!

If you noticed you forgot to add something, made a mistake, or if you would like to cancel the order, please reach out to us asap!

Please note, we can only adjust orders if the item has not been picked up yet by the shipper. The moment you received an e-mail from us with the tracking information, you can't edit, add/remove or cancel your order.

Delayed- & Missing Packages

Kindly contact FedEx directly to provide the required information, or feel free to reach out to us for assistance.

Occasionally, such situations may arise. In most cases, FedEx tracking updates frequently, so we recommend keeping an eye on the tracking number. If the tracking indicates missing information or documentation, please don’t hesitate to inform us, and we will work to resolve the delay as quickly as possible.

Please contact FedEx promptly to verify the delivery location of your package. If you are unable to locate it, we recommend checking with your neighbors. If no one has received the package and the tracking status indicates it has been delivered, please contact us to initiate an investigation.

Due to recent fraudulent orders, the only way to receive a refund for a lost package is by opening a claim through your payment provider. This ensures that all missing packages are properly registered. We will, of course, provide any necessary information required by your payment provider.

If a product is currently out of stock, we recommend leaving your email address on the product page. Our inventory is updated regularly, and you will automatically receive an email notification as soon as the item becomes available again.

Brass and copper naturally change color over time due to patination, a process that occurs when these metals react with environmental elements.

Preserving or Managing the Original Color:

  • Polishing: Restores the original shine by removing the patina, but this also exposes the metal to future oxidation.
  • Allowing Patination: Some individuals prefer to let brass or copper develop a patina, appreciating its antique or aesthetic appeal.

Kohezi is the phonetic way of writing the Dutch word 'Cohesie' (cohesion), which means 'the force that bonds elements' or 'connected / united'.

We are in love with natural materials. Most of these materials are heavily used in today's industry, but are often undervalued. We want to change your perspective on these 'undervalued' materials. And to do so we are building a collection of connected, amazingly great yet simple designs. By displaying and combining these products we hope to bring back respect and appreciation for these elements.
