Dressing in kimono is an art that takes time and practice, and the brand has reimagined the traditional garment as creative and fashion-forward attire for mindful daily wear. Enjoy a selection of fine kimono fabrics in this 2023 limited collaboration edition.
The kimono fabric is made in Katakai town in Ojiya, Niigata prefecture. Kuzushi is a traditional Japanese crosshatch pattern made up of alternating lines based on the sangi motif (sangi are wooden counting rods used in Japanese mathematics, or wasan, developed during the Edo period). This pattern is a single-line variation of the common basketweave design featuring three lines.
